Full length water pants are made of a comfortable and fast-drying nylon or polyester fabric and feature a right flap pocket for your wax comb, sunscreen or other waterproof essentials.

    Look great on your board or in the pool. Some manufacturers turned surf shorts into pants which feel and fit like board shorts, just longer. They too have the standard triple stitch side seams with two or four side pockets, velcro ankle closures and a drawcord.

    Fabric is the same as for boardshorts, just as durable, quick dry, easy to wash, stain resistant, dryer safe. The better ones feature fast-drying Supreme Suede fabric for optimal comfort at the beach or on the lake.

    Board pants are made of super soft and durable Microfiber (boardshort material), a stain resistant, quick dry material which comes out of the dryer looking like new. Fabric is the same as for most shorts and they fit like standard surf shorts. Side velcro pockets are big enough for your wallet and keys, Some have velcro ankle closures.

    Kite pants are made from quick dry durable fabric to protect your wetsuit. They are more robust than regular shorts and should last longer, thus justify the higher price.

    Go outside. Play. Get wet if you like. But don't forget your cargo pants. The thin fabric gets wet very fast, but dries quickly. If your idea of having fun involves getting wet a lot, then comfortable cargo pants should be your standard equipment.

    The better ones have dual front pockets with a mesh lining for fast venting and even faster draining. A soft, built-in mesh lining (or brief) eliminates the discomfort of cold, damp underwear.

    The quick-drying fabric pulls sweat away from your skin to evaporate on the surface keeping you drier and warmer during high aerobic activity. Brush off the water from a drizzle or squeeze garment out after a sudden downpour and it's as good as dry.

    Cargo pants are quite versatile and stand up well to hard use and wet weather. They have been a street fashion favourite for years, conveying youthful rebellion and unabashed androgyny.
