Multi-Purpose Swimsuit
A Tri-Race-Suit is specially designed to reduce air and water drag. It is made from a fabric which is ultra-light, breathable and fast-drying. Offers excellent muscle support, a seamless chamois and silicon leg grips to reduce chafing.

You may want to wear a trisuit for your next race. Slip one of these under your wetsuit and it'll dry quickly once you jump on the bike, with enough padding for a 40K pedal and be comfortable enough for a 10K run.

Think of it as layers. A trisuit is a base layer that you wear for the whole event. Depending on water temperature, you may want to wear a wetsuit (cold water) or a swimskin/speedsuit (warm water). The purpose of the swimskin is to make you more hydrodynamic, which makes it easier. With either the wetsuit or the swimskin, you have the trisuit underneath, and just ditch the top layer for the bike run.

A wetsuit is made of neoprene and you look and feel like a seal. Keep in mind there are USAT and IM rules about water temp that determine when a wetsuit can be used. Some races "require" a wetsuit.

We would recommend getting a wetsuit even if you can stand the water temperatures because of the buoyancy. There are a couple of wetsuit manufacturers that give a full refund (typically within a 14 day window) if you are not happy with their product. It would be an option for you to see for yourself whether or not you think the wetsuit is worth it with minimal investment.

Speedo® XDskin™, an exclusive new water repellent fabric that absorbs less water and helps you stay drier. Excellent for multi-sport activities as quick drying fabric reduces chafing for the bike, run, and beyond. The nine thread flatlock, Speedo's unique stitching technology, provides greater stretch for better fit and movement. The thread feels softer against the skin.

    Fabric: 77% nylon, 23% Lycra.
